Experience the future of choral singing in Aotearoa at this special open rehearsal of the Aotearoa Choral Academy. Marking the Academy’s first course of 2026, this year welcomes new Co-Music Directors Jono Palmer and Fiona Wilson. As New Zealand’s premier training ground for emerging choral talent, the Academy provides intensive vocal training, musicianship development, and challenging repertoire designed to help young singers excel. Many Academy participants go on to perform with the New Zealand Secondary Students’ Choir and the internationally acclaimed New Zealand Youth Choir. Join us for a glimpse into the next generation of New Zealand’s choral excellence.
